Cockney Rebel gelding. Had some market support on debut and nearly defied that with good second at Hexham (2m) in June. Not seen since but that form sets the standard.
Scorpion gelding. Dam won over both hurdles and chases during her career but first offspring has failed to win from five starts over jumps. Yard can ready one for these contests so worth a check.
Fame And Glory gelding who has a strong-looking pedigree. Didn't defy expectations on debut effort when weakening into tame fifth at Sedgefield (2m1f) last month. Entitled to improve.
Fame And Glory gelding. First foal of a dam was a useful hurdler/chaser and is half-sister to the useful up to 3m winner Blaeberry. Pedigree offers some hope so notable if there is market support.
Cost £22,000 as a five-year-old. Half-brother to 1m4f winner Circi and Dam was a winner over 1m4f on the track. Poor performances from three starts in the point-to-point sphere which is off putting.
Didn't show much on first two starts for this yard in bumpers before running respectable third at Sedgefield (2m1f) for Micky Hammond. Back with this yard now but still will need some improvement.
Neck second on debut at Newcastle in January (2m) and probably ran to that level when third back at that venue in February. Not seen since but entitled to claims on seasonal reappearance.
Shirocco gelding. Dam was a winner over 2m4f who also stayed 3m and half-brother to smart staying hurdler Mr Thriller. Looks to be the stable's first-string so entitled to merit.
Lucarno gelding. Dam raced exclusively in the point-to-point fields and was a multiple winner in that sphere. Pedigree is a relative unknown however so informative if there is a market move.
Mahler gelding whose dam was unraced. Showed some progress and caught the eye when staying-on third in 2m1f bumper at Sedgefield last month. Every chance he can progress again so leading claims.
Kayf Tara mare. Dam was a winner over both codes at 2m and is a half-sister to fair hurdler Watch My Back. One of two runners for trainer but jockey bookings suggests she's the second string.
Fame And Glory mare. Dam was a maiden hurdler under rules but half-sister to useful performer Raise your Heart. Showed signs of encouragement before weakening to finish sixth of 15 at Carlisle in October (2m). Entitled to come on but up against it.
Librettist mare. Dam was a useful hurdler and chaser and is a half-sister to up to 3m1f chase Misstree Dancer. Nicely won a point-to-point in February and is the choice of Harry Skelton. Leading contender.
Cheaply sold in August last year and pedigree is related to three winners. Raced well for a long way and plugged on into third in 2m NHF race at Ayr last month. Could improve on that and has place claims.
€5,000 purchase by Getaway. Pulled up on both starts under the flags and was never a factor when last of 10 at Down Royal (2m) earlier this month. Tough task on her plate in this.

Forecasts
If Karl's Berg Did (5/2), Misstree Song (7/2), Nikgarde (7/1), Kleos (17/2), Cockney Beau (10/1), Very Patient (10/1), Call Me Chris (16/1), Kiriglote (18/1), Fabrication (20/1), High Renown (25/1), Pennine Cross (25/1), Master Newton (28/1), Shantou Street (33/1), Ribeye (33/1), Robin Du Roi (33/1), Temple Hall Tango (150/1)
MISTREE SONG was impressive enough in her victory in the point-to-point sphere and represents a yard who are bang in-form at the moment. If tuned up for her rules debuts could prove tough to beat. Nikgarde ran to similar levels in both of his starts to date and while he too has an absence to defy, if running to that mark he could prove to be the main danger, while Cockney Beau and Very Patient both exceeded expectations on debut and have the scope to progress once again.
- Misstree Song
- Nikgarde
- Cockney Beau
