Has shaped well at times over timber this year, including when second at Tramore (2m, soft to heavy; 4-1) last month. Disappointing run since at Clonmel and wouldn't be noted for consistency.

Verdict

The Chapel Field was a winner at Fairyhouse on Tuesday and is much-respected under a 5lb penalty here, albeit this is a very quick turnaround and he drops significantly in trip. SOLAR HEAT also won at that venue but has the benefit of nine days recovery time. She showed a nice gear chance to get the job done and, with Paul Cawley taking 7lb off, should be going close again in this line-up with a repeat run. Percy B Shelley is a danger under the champion jockey for the first time while Zinat should be sharper for her return a fortnight ago.
