Vision D'Etat filly, cost €10,000 as a yearling, price rising to €26,000 as a 2yo; fifth foal; bred to have more speed than a few of these and yard get winners in the sphere, but stamina a possible concern on debut.
Cityscape filly that only beat a couple home on debut and yard simply don't get winners in bumpers; on that alone, easy enough to look elsewhere today.
Soldier Of Fortune filly that cost €26,000 as a yearling; she's a half-sister to the useful dual-purpose Heartbreak City, so should stay, and it will be interesting to see what the market says in relation to her stablemate Belle De Manech.
Irish raider; Ravens Pass filly that cost €12,000 as a yearling; half-sister to a mile winner in France and should have some speed about her; yard not known for bumper winners.
Yorgunnabelucky filly that did make some appeal on looks on bumper debut at Exeter but disgraced herself by playing u and unshipping her rider as the tapes went up; probably best watched given that here.
Masked Marvel filly that made a super introduction at Huntingdon last month, not knocked about to finish a running-on third and the experience won't have been lost on her; every chance of going a couple better here.
Camacho filly that is a half-sister to winning 6f sprinter Goodnight Girl; not a lot of stamina in the pedigree, which has to be a worry under these conditions, but with a top yard and has to be respected.
Leading Light filly that makes some appeal on pedigree but yard 0-4 in bumpers over the last five years and on that alone, others make stronger claims.
Nathaniel filly, related to three winning sprinters but there is some stamina in the breeding; yard just 3-41 in bumpers the last five years but know the time of day, and a bit of market support would make her more interesting.
Nathaniel filly that wears a tongue-strap for her debut today, half-sister to the Listed placed Whirling Dervish; plenty of stamina in the family and won't fail for a lack of it, rare runner in this sphere for the yard and is of some interest.
Forecasts
Nearly Perfection (9/4), Belle De Manech (3/1), Maskada (5/1), Coquelicot (11/2), Indy System (9/1), Passin' Thru (14/1), Sinistry (16/1), Nell 'n' Flo (40/1), Katchar Kiss (100/1), City Flame (125/1)
As ever the market will tell us plenty about their respective chances but the ones to make the most appeal on paper are Coquelicot, Nearly Perfection, and Sinistry, an interesting contender from a yard not known for bumper runners. Stamina could be her long suit and that could count for plenty here. Maskada ran well on debut and may give her the most to think about.
- Sinistry
- Maskada
- Coquelicot
