100/1
First start for new yard, having been in Ireland with Martin Brassil; looks out of his depth based on hurdles form and likely to be playing a bit part only.

Lisp18
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King| OR:  145| D
11/4
Classy handicap hurdler, placed in valuable events at Ascot and Newbury last year; good comeback when fourth to Gumball at Ascot earlier in the month and that form franked since; trip/ground fine and every chance on chase debut if jumping fluently.

Mister Fisher193
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-2| J: N de Boinville| T: N J Henderson| OR:  144| BF| D
2/1
Winner of Haydock's Grade 2 Supreme Trial in January before trying his hand in the event itself at the Festival, not disgraced in eighth; has scope for fences, slight question mark over the ground but that aside, one of the main players here.

Not as good as a couple of these over hurdles but has made a bright start to chasing career, including a solid second at Al Dancer at Cheltenham on latest start; that experience puts him in good stead and he cannot be discounted.

Torpilloh25
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-9| J: Sam Twiston-Davies| T: N & W Twiston-Davies| OR:  145| BF| D
13/8
Has always looked a chasing type, made good start to this season when winning a good handicap at Chepstow and lost little in defeat latest; gets weight as a 4yo, trip and ground ideal, and is a very interesting contender.

Forecasts

Torpillo (13/8), Mister Fisher (2/1), Lisp (11/4), Not That Fuisse (9/1), Geneva Barracks (100/1)

Verdict

A fascinating contest. Not That Fuisse has some chase experience to his name already and that can only aid his cause, but Lisp, MISTER FISHER and Torpillo were considerably higher rated over hurdles and he may need to improve. Mister Fisher has always looked the sort to do better once seeing a fence and as long as he handles the ground, may be the one to beat. Torpillo will be no pushover getting 7lb, and comes here race fit, and Lisp cannot be ruled out on chase debut either.
  1. Mister Fisher
  2. Torpillo
  3. Not That Fuisse
