11-race maiden. Miserable run of form continued at this venue earlier this month over 1m finishing eighth of 14 beaten 7¾. Form doesn't warrant support here.

Record of one from 10 on the Flat but is without success in three starts at this track. Winner over the larger obstacles at Down Royal at the beginning of the month and looks a danger back on this surface.

Miserly return of two wins from 26 turf starts on the Flat. Sole start on this surface came in this contest two years ago finishing ninth of 14 over C&D. Needs to show more sparkle before any faith is placed in her.

Verdict

Despite a draw in the 13 stall, the Charles O'Brien-trained POWER DRIVE can get across to lead all the way as the four-year-old looks to back up his win here over C&D 54 days ago. The Medicean gelding can hold off the attentions of Ar Eagla Na Heagla who can emerge as the biggest danger possibly taking advantage of the early pace. The Willie McCreery-trained Romantically and Cliara for trainer John O'Connell may befit from the pace set by the early leader while Caronda is expected to be doing all her best work at the business end of proceedings.
  1. Power Drive
  2. Ar Eagla Na Heagla
  3. Cliara
