Daughter of Nathaniel, a four-race maiden on the Flat in France during 2017, returning from a 620-day absence when finishing second of 22 beaten a short-head in Grade 2 Mares' Novices' hurdle at the Cheltenham festival in March. Sets a high bar.
Will have pleased connections on hurdling debut when finishing fourth of 12 in a Cork maiden over a similar trip earlier this month. More needed but enters calculations.
Modest 55-rated handicapper on the Flat, well beaten when never a factor on second start over hurdles finishing last of nine at Punchestown on Saturday. First time visor unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement.
Off the mark at the third attempt in bumpers when winning a 16 runner event over an extended 2m at Ballinrobe in May before a pleasing maiden hurdle introduction at Gowran Park last month. Place claims.
Daughter of Saddler Maker out of a Cadoudal mare. Well held in a couple of maiden hurdles since making her debut at Tramore last month. Handicaps likely to suit better.
Poor form in a number of bumper starts so far since the September Storm mare made her debut in August. Not one to place a great deal of faith in.
Saddler Maker filly, dam was a winner in France and is a sister to a bumper winner. Pleasing return to action following a 594-day break finishing second of 12 beaten 2¾L at Cork earlier this month. Capable of a bold bid.
Jeremy mare. Dam, ran once over hurdles and was a 1m4f winner on Flat. 11th of 13 never a factor on maiden hurdle debut over 2m3f at Naas when last seen in November.
Dismal efforts so far in a Tipperary bumper in May 2018 and on hurdling debut at Wexford when last seen in April. Appears to have a mountain to climb.
By Doyen out of a Bob Back mare. Showed promise in the first three races in her career before struggling at Fairyhouse in April and more recently at Punchestown last month. Easy to look elsewhere.
Daughter of Flemensfirth out of a Phardante mare. Closely related to Benefit Run winner over hurdles and fences racing between 2m/2m2f. Worth a market check on debut.
Three-race maiden well held on hurdling debut at Thurles earlier this month over 2m on yielding to soft ground when sent off at odds of 100/1.
Daughter of Stowaway out of a Saddlers' Hall mare. Bought for £150,000 as a four-year-old. Bumper winner and one to watch in the market on hurdling debut.
Forecasts
Concertista (1/2), Earthiest Words (3/1), Larquebuse (13/2), Telmesomethinggirl (10/1), Miss Cognac (12/1), Lunch In Adare (40/1), Wailing Woods (50/1), Rock Samphire (100/1), Belle Etoile (100/1), Golden Chance (100/1), Gerilee (100/1), Daenerys Stormborn (100/1), Bonnemine (100/1)
CONCERTISTA sets a high bar here following her second of 22 beaten a short-head behind Eglantine Du Seuil in the Grade 2 Mares' Novices' hurdle at the Cheltenham festival in March. The five-year-old will have plenty of competition in the shape of the Gordon Elliott-trained Larquebuse who can only improve on her maiden hurdle debut at Cork earlier this month and the Henry De Bromhead newcomer Telmesomethinggirl who won a point-to-point in February. The Noel Meade-trained Miss Cognac and Earthiest Words, second of 12 at Cork recently should not be underestimated.
- Concertista
- Telmesomethinggirl
- Earthiest Words
