Held in fourth on his rules debut in a Gowran bumper, and beaten further on his hurdles debut at Galway last month. Much more needed.
Was pulled up after making a bad mistake on his hurdles debut at Listowel a couple of months ago. Hood fitted for this return to action, but can only watch.
Fifth in a Clonmel bumper in March before he fell at Wexford on his recent hurdles debut. In the right hands to find improvement, but may have to wait for other days.
By an Ascot Gold Cup winner out of a twice pulled-up pointer and daughter of Supreme Leader. Probably one to watch with the future in mind.
Got off the mark at the third attempt in a Wexford bumper in March. Not disgraced against Grade 1 opposition at Punchestown next time, but still beaten 23L by the reopposing Colreevy. Respectable run over hurdles at Wexford latest. Each-way player.
Showed some ability in bumpers and improved on his hurdles debut when fourth at Clonmel recently. Not written off, but needs a fair bit of improvement to beat one or two of these opponents.
Well beaten in both maiden hurdle outings so far and readily opposed.
Dual bumper winner who was less than 5L second to the classy Envoi Allen in Listed company in-between. Not seen since February, but no doubting his ability and could have a big say if taking to this discipline.
Well beaten when pulled up in a Downpatrick bumper in May. Can only take a watching brief here.
Switches back to this sphere from a spell over fences, where he has performed with credit. Even so, looks to have plenty to find with the main protagonists.
Beaten a long way at both Wexford and Killarney, and although both were in bumpers, he needs a lot of improvement now switching to this discipline.
Well beaten in a Limerick bumper on debut in March. Lots to find on his hurdling debut.
Won a point in February, but she has been well held in a couple of bumpers since then. Plenty to prove on hurdles debut.
Grade 3 bumper winner at last year's Punchestown Festival. Ran just twice last season, the latest seeing her return to the same track for Grade 1 bumper success. Optimism from her pedigree that she will go well over hurdles. The one to beat.
Romped home to win by 15L on debut in a Down Royal bumper in March, before disappointing against Grade 3 opponents next time. Decent hurdles debut at Galway last month, and probably an each-way player here.
Forecasts
Colreevy (8/13), Midnight Run (13/8), Goodbye Someday (12/1), Fag An Bealach (16/1), Conflated (20/1), Fire Away (20/1), Paranoid (50/1), Carrigmoorna Pine (66/1), Coppercoast Paudie (100/1), Chesterville (100/1), Sicario Jack (100/1), Justice Jim (100/1), Rebel Waltz (100/1), Arthur's Baby (100/1), Our J (100/1)
This should chiefly concern high class bumper performers Midnight Run and COLREEVY, and the latter is just preferred on her hurdles debut, with a 7lb allowance looking attractive. Fire Away and Fag An Bealach could be the ones to chase those leading contenders home.
- Colreevy
- Midnight Run
- Fag An Bealach
