Dual Irish point winner who made a promising rules debut in a Hexham novices' hurdle in March. Couldn't improve on that back there on his chase debut (3m, soft) last month, but can come on for that. Unexposed and not ruled out.
On a long losing run dating back to March 2017, but has run numerous good races since then. Another decent effort here over C&D last time, and can't be ruled out after another 1lb drop.
Has raced only three times since scoring over 2m4f at Hexham (soft) in October 2017, when 2lb higher. Returns from another 10-month absence here and hard to recommend him with any confidence.
At his best on a sound surface and at around 3m. 4lb higher than when scoring over C&D this time last year, arrives in good form and should make his presence felt.
ARD CHROS is open to some improvement and with doubts as to whether Fingerontheswitch can produce the goods on soft ground, he might be the answer here. Silver Tassie is exposed and not finding winning easy, while Bigirononhiship appears to be fragile and is not one to rely heavily on.
