Decisive winner of a French conditions hurdle (2m½f, good to soft) on his only run so far, in May 2018. Has since changed hands and makes belated reappearance here. Check for market confidence, but can probably go well under a penalty.

Won a bumper in the spring (1m5½f, good) and returned to action to make an easy winning debut over hurdles in a maiden at Hereford (2m, good) last month. This looks tougher on paper, but he has to be respected under a penalty.

Won a Perth bumper (good to soft) in April, having been placed in all his previous three runs. Ran on well to be a promising third at Aintree on last month's hurdles debut (2m4f, soft). Drops in trip, but looks the one to beat on that latest form.
BHA rating of 95 on the Flat, where he won three times at up to 1m4f, including on soft, for Kevin Ryan. Changed hands for £72,000 in August and now makes hurdles/stable debut. Very interesting if he can transfer that Flat ability to this sphere.

BHA rating of 71 on the Flat, where he has won 1-16 (2m1f, good). Stamina no concern, but soft ground and the quality of the opposition in this field are.

Showed ability in two bumpers, including here last season. Was supported prior to a wide margin success on her hurdles debut at Hexham (2m, soft) last month. Will probably need to step up on that under a penalty in this field but can't be ruled out.

Forecasts

Big Bad Bear (1/1), Miah Grace (2/1), Milkwood (9/1), Faro De Kerser (14/1), Everything For You (14/1), Forewarning (25/1)

Verdict

Another interesting contest, where BIG BAD BEAR is the suggestion after a good hurdles debut last month. Everything For You has significant Flat speed and acts on soft, so he could be a danger if taking to hurdles. Faro De Kerser adds another dimension after winning on his only start in France, but then not having been seen since. Miah Grace can't be ruled out after a super effort last time, while Milkwood is also respected.
