Verdict

The Mulcair cost £65,000 after winning his point-to-point and related to some decent types under Rules has to come with a certain level of expectation making his Rules/hurdles debut from a top-class yard. Positive market vibes would make him a real live prospect although he will have to be right up to the mark to beat Bangor winner JEPECK who makes a quick return and may get the run of this race again with his experience giving him a further advantage. Danboru wasn’t disgraced over fences last time in a decent contest but he’s consistent rather than progressive and it would be Éclair On Line who would be of more interest after a promising debut at Wetherby.
