Off the mark for connections at the ninth time of asking in a handicap hurdle at this venue in February off a 5lb lower mark. Beaten since and ran through the wing of the hurdles when beaten at Wexford in June.
Running with plenty of credit in a number of starts since April. Decent form with give in the ground and has the ability to make a bold bid.
Not seen for 12 months. Pulled up before four out at Fairyhouse last December in a 3m5f in a Grade B chase on final start for trainer Noel Meade. Market likely to be the best guide on return over hurdles.
Sole win over hurdles came when shedding his maiden tag in April last year. Slips back to 2lb lower than last winning mark and could give a good account.
No impression in a moderate effort on return to action at Thurles last month finishing down the field in a 17-runner maiden hurdle on stable debut. Market check on handicap debut.
Four-race maiden well held on each of his starts over timber. Could be vulnerable to better handicapped sorts as he makes his debut in this company.
Gelding by Le Fou out of an Oscar mare. Running well in defeat in a couple of maiden contests in September. Capable of better still as his makes his handicap debut.
Daughter of Mahler. Well held in four maiden hurdle starts last term. Appears to have a mountain to climb on the balance of what she has shown to date.
Off the mark for connections at the eighth time of asking over C&D before a fine second of 15 off an 8lb higher at Punchestown last month. Could well still have more to give back at this venue.
Beaten at least 44L in three dismal maiden hurdle starts since February. Recent form at Wexford unlikely to be good enough in this contest on handicap debut.
10-race maiden, but third of eight over C&D in January suggests there is more to come from the Shantou gelding. Has hit the frame on an easy surface previously and likely to run well once again.
Six-race maiden yet to hit the frame on any of her starts and was well beaten in a couple of handicap hurdle starts when last seen in February. Needs to show more sparkle before any faith in shown in her.
Improved effort when finishing third of 16 beaten 5¾L in a Galway 2m2½f handicap hurdle on soft ground late last month and makes more appeal than most in these conditions.
Not much to shout about in seven poor starts over hurdles including a number of heavy handicap hurdle defeats. Handicapper relents but still plenty of work to be done.
Ran as could be expected when finishing fourth of 18 beaten over 10L in a 2m½f handicap at this track late last month. No surprise to see an improve performance here.
