Preference is for NORDIC COMBINED, who ran an incredibly race to take third in a usually hot contest at Ascot last time out. He still looks on a competitive enough mark and could be one step ahead of the handicapper at this rate. Haldon Hill usually takes well to this course and there is every chance his wind operation could irk out more improvement in him, while the likes of Searching comes into this race in fine form but this represents another step up.
