Previous C&D winner in decent form last term winning at Uttoxeter and Chepstow. Returns from summer break off just 1lb higher than last win so is respected for top yard that has 12% strike-rate here over hurdles.
Won course bumper here in July on second appearance and shaped nicely under sympathetic ride at Bangor last month. Drop back in trip may help on this ground and may not be at all far away on handicap debut.
Landed Worcester bumper 2018 for Paul George and failed by just a head there over hurdles in modest five-runner event this summer on debut for current yard. Has run poorly since though, including in last two starts following wind surgery.
Just 1-26 over hurdles but scored on the Flat at Epsom in July. Hasn't looked a winner-in-waiting on last two runs over hurdles so on balance others are preferred.
Poor form in four starts last term but left that well behind when a good third on seasonal return at Stratford last month on handicap bow under 7lb claimer. Will be ready to roll now and has solid claims in this company off the same mark.
Infrequent winner but popped up at Chepstow in March off 6lb lower mark. Shaped well when third of 17 back there on recent seasonal return and has been eased 1lb. Drop back to this trip will also help the cause.
