Won three times last year at between 2m4f-3m but hasn't tended to run too well here on previous visits. Fading 5 out when unseated rider at Wetherby last week and will do wel to bounce mark off the same mark.
Scored twice over the sharp 2m5f at Fakenham last term but has yet to prove he stays this trip. First star back since March and tends to need a race or two to reach his peak so others are preferred.
Dual winner over timber but yet to hit the mark over larger obstacles in five attempts. Ran fairly well on reappearance when third of 8 at Uttoxeter three weeks ago, tiring over the last two. 3lb lower here so enters calculations.
Five-time winner whose last success came 22 months ago at Newbury off 2lb higher mark. Drew a blank last season and seems to needs a few runs to reach full fitness, so is opposable on this seasonal return.
Easily landed 3m1f Hereford h'cap chase 11 months ago but disapointed on both subsequent starts. Not seen since March, but won first time out last term and yard is in good form so may well be in the mix.
Has won over 3m over timber but hasn't shone in two starts so far over fences including at Huntingdon latest where backed out of it quickly from 3 out over 2m4f. Steadier pace of this longer race may help but has a bit to prove.
Off the mark at eighth time of asking when staying on gamely to force a dead-heat over C&D in February off 5lb lower mark, but hasn't run since. Yard in decent nick, but has fitness to prove.
12-race maiden who went close twice over hurdles April 2018 but run only four times since and not seen since pulling up at Lingfield in February. Returns from wind surgery, cheekpieces added, and is 3lb lower so worth a check for market interest.
Won this race two years ago and won here again in December last year before landing another victory at Bangor in March. 3lb higher than last success and goes very well fresh so another bold show anticipated.

Forecasts
Louse Talk (3/1), Alminar (9/2), Bandon Roc (9/2), Horatio Hornblower (5/1), Lac Sacre (13/2), Cougar's Gold (7/1), Steel Native (7/1), Supakalanistic (9/1), Frankly Speaking (10/1), Mortens Leam (18/1)
A number of these have fitness to prove but the 2017 winner STEEL NATIVE goes well fresh and has won here a few times before so looks set to run a good race under Tom Scudamore. Bandon Roc is another who seems to be easy to get ready after a break and won first time out last campaign, so with his yard in good form has to enter calculations, while Louse Talk shaped nicely for a long way at Uttoxeter recently and also has claims. Previous C&D winner Alminar may prove best of the rest.
