Gradually improved with each race last season until taking backward step when pulling up in 2m4f Sandown novices' hurdle. Not seen since March and looks weighted to the hill.
Started the season with good third before progressing further when landing 2m handicap hurdle at Ludlow in good style. Penalised for that but respected.
Promising efforts at the start of last season have not been backed up and culminated last season with 34L defeat at Chepstow (2m). Bounce back required now.
Well beaten on first two starts to date, including 18L fourth in 2m4f Bangor novice hurdle. Not seen in nearly three years so probably best watched.
Showed plenty of promise in first couple of starts and probably needed comeback effort when 13L fifth at Bangor (2m) in October. On a fair mark however so can't be discounted.
Solid second over C&D in May before 27L third at Southwell when last seen in June. Makes comeback effort but looks to be on a competitive mark.
Good winner over 2m5f here in March and wasn't disrespected when third over 3m at Newbury later that month. Makes comeback effort but contender on that form.
Last seen over hurdles finishing third in 2m Wincanton novices' hurdle last December. Impressive on the flat since and looks well handicapped back in this company.
Usually runs to his mark and rewarded for consistency with game success over C&D in March. Increased in handicap since but shortlisted.
Only made the track once last season, finishing tailed off I'm 2m Fontwell handicap hurdle. Best watched on that form.
Placed in three moderate hurdles last season but ended the year with poor 15th in 2m4f Uttoxeter handicap hurdle. More needed on that evidence.
Looked to be an inconsistent sort but bounced back to form with gutsy success in 2m handicap hurdle at Bangor in March. has a 6lb rise to contend with in tougher race however.
Sole win came at Sedgefield a year ago and well-held in handicap company, including seventh over 3m at Uttoxeter last month. More required at this trip.
Never a threat in any start under rules to date and started season with 42L defeat at Stratford (2m2f) in October. Easily opposable on that form.

A competitive looking affair, it may be worth taking a punt on the unexposed LIGHTLY SQUEEZE, who finished his last jumps effort with an encouraging third. His flat efforts will have seemingly ripened him up and he could be one step ahead of the handicapper. Star Of Rory has proved to be a consistent sort at this level but may be hindered by his current mark, while the likes of Avantgardist and Karakoram have been running well but need a further step up.
- Lightly Squeeze
- Star of Rory
- Karakoram
