Sister to the Grade 3 French winner Polygona and already a winner of a bumper (Ludlow) and a 2m mares' novices' hurdle (Worcester) herself; won on the bridle when beating Fejoada by 19L (Aggy With It fell) a fortnight ago.

Heaven Help Us13
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: Danny Mullins| T: P Hennessy| D
16/1
Irish raider; sprung a 33-1 shock when making all to beat the fair yardstick Master Debonair by 2L in a 2m maiden hurdle at Cheltenham (good to soft) a fortnight ago; this looks to be much more competitive.

Silver Forever27
Age: 5|  Weight: 11-3| J: H Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| D
7/4
Above average bumper winner (Chepstow & Ascot); caught close home by Misty Whisky (Farne third) in a mares' Listed contest at Sandown in March; off to the perfect start over hurdles with a decisive 4L win at Chepstow (2m3½f, soft); back in trip.
Mahler filly (dam was a half-sister to the useful 2m4f-3m hurdler Whisky Yankee); came into her own when introduced to hurdles, springing a 20-1 shock at Ffos Las (2m, soft); is likely to continue to progress (does need to).

Aggy With It15
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Skelton| T: D Skelton
12/1
Didn't come out of second gear when winning a Market Rasen mares' maiden bumper (2m+, good) in March; still travelling well behind the eventual winner Floressa when falling late on hurdles debut at Worcester.

Designer Destiny173
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: D A Jacob| T: H Whittington| BF
50/1
Runner-up in both bumper starts, including when turned over at odds of 4-9f on debut for Harry Whittington at Bangor (2m+, good) in May; this race looks to be an overly ambitious starting point for hurdling.

Eyes Right217
Age: 4|  Weight: 10-12| J: Tom Cannon| T: A King| D
50/1
Has some useful bumper form on her CV, including over 1m4f at this track; finished down the field (50-1) in a Grade 2 contest at the Aintree Festival (held by Farne); is likely to face less taxing assignments over hurdles in time.

Farne217
Age: 5|  Weight: 10-12| J: Bryony Frost| T: N B King
8/1
Considered a shade unfortunate not to have won a bumper (was very highly tried); tucked in nicely in third behind the reopposing Silver Forever in a mares' Listed contest at Sandown (soft) in March; merits respect on hurdles debut.

Forecasts

Floressa (11/8), Silver Forever (7/4), Vienna Court (7/1), Farne (8/1), Aggy With It (12/1), Heaven Help Us (16/1), Eyes Right (50/1), Designer Destiny (50/1)

Verdict

A race which features some likeable mares with a fair standard of bumper form. The Paul Nicholls-trained SILVER FOREVER finished just in front of Farne when runner-up to Misty Whisky at Sandown (Listed) in March, and with the benefit of some experience over hurdles (a smooth and taking Chepstow winner) is expected to confirm that bumper form. The drop back in trip (to 2m) shouldn't necessarily hinder the grey Jeremy mare, and she should also have the beating of the effortless Worcester winner Floressa (flattered by a 19L winning margin, owing to the late fall of Aggy With It).
  1. Silver Forever
  2. Vienna Court
  3. Floressa
