In the form of his life at present and won going away in a Keeneland Grade 3 last time out. Needs more, particularly back at this trip but rates as a solid each-way contender if he can produce another career best.

Finished a close third in this race back in 2016 and retains plenty of ability, as seen when a 3L winner of a Grade 3 at Parx last time out. Could be hard to peg back if given an uncontested lead, though that would be unlikely.

Grade 2 winner at Keeneland back in April and probably caught out by the stiff finish at Royal Ascot next time out. Not match for Totally Boss in a Grade 3 at Kentucky Downs in September though and a beaten favourite again last time out; needs more.

Only narrowly denied a hat-trick at Belmont Park last time out when runner-up in a Listed race to Final Frontier. Better off at the weights here but that level of form is unlikely to be strong enough in this.

Has returned to form of late, runner-up to Legends Of War (receiving 2lb) prior to a Grade 2 win at Keeneland last time with Leinster and Imprimis in behind. Tends to do his best work in the finish and he's a live player if handling the drop to 5f.

In fine form in 2018, second in the Al Quoz Sprint at Meydan prior to a host of wins including a second renewal of this race. Not in the same form this term but this will be the main target and it would be no shock if he found an improved effort.

Unexposed sprinter who won back-to-back races earlier in the campaign and has run well in defeat behind Totally Boss and Stubins on his last two starts. Could be better suited to this sharp test and ought to be right there.

Runner-up in a Group 2 for John Gosden when based in UK. Got the better of Stubbins last time out in a Grade 3 at Kentucky Downs and that rival has franked the form since, though he's probably more a threat at 6f.

Got his head back in front last time out at Belmont Park but needs to prove he can be at least as effective at 5f and this is a marked step up in class; others make more appeal.

A beaten favourite on his last two starts but had excuses last time out when given too much to do from the rear in a C&D Grade 2. 5f on fast ground at this venue seem to be his optimum conditions but the draw could have been kinder.

Got his head back in front at Churchill Downs last time out when dropped in grade. Very consistent sort who landed a Grade 2 at this venue back in 2015 but it would be a surprise if he could get back to the sort of form required for winning this.

Saves her best form for this venue and won a Grade 2 here last year. At her best over further than this but she's effective at this trip, as seen when third in a C&D Grade 3 in May. An each-way player if she can overcome the draw.

Verdict

TOTALLY BOSS has a step up in trip to cope with but there was a lot to like about the way he won last time out and he ought to be suited by this sharp test. Stormy Liberal can't be ruled out of landing another renewal if he finds his best. Eddie Haskell looked unlucky in defeat last time and could be worth taking a chance on, particularly from an each-way perspective.
