Four-time winner on the AW (Tapeta/Fibresand); all his victories coming over 1m plus. Shaped nicely enough off the back of a six-month break over C&D last time (winner won again next time); chance if coping with the trip.
C&D winner but yet to score this year although he's not been disgraced of late in some low-grade handicaps over 6f/7f at Kempton. Vulnerable to less-exposed sorts in that sphere but unlikely to come across anything of that ilk here.
One win from 24 starts hardly inspires confidence in his chance a first-time visor appearing to be the catalyst for his progress on that occasion. Moderate attempts of late; below form last time over 1m at Kempton (0-60 handicap), limited appeal.
On a long losing run with consistency or rather lack of it a theme that runs through his form. Ran a respectable race over C&D last time in an amateur riders' handicap but hard to trust him to replicate that performance.
Dual C&D winner winning a similar event last time producing a career-best but was seen to maximum effect off what was a strong pace (came from last to first). Would need the same pace scenario to follow-up; that's not out of the question.
Scored a narrow win when recording a debut victory on his first run for this yard over 6f at Yarmouth. Now faces a very different test (only had one previous outing on the AW); yet to prove she stays this far; best watched off a break.

Hardly a finale to set the pulse racing but it should prove competitive and it’s nit hard to give all seven runners some sort of chance. Caribbean Spring showed himself to be in good heart here last time although he has to prove that he can win over trips short of 1m. Quick Monet will need another strong pace in order to be able to follow up his come from behind C&D victory and Jupiter and Tavener may well provide that angle so he’s not totally without hope of a repeat. GARTH ROCKETT is given a narrow vote in the end with this contest providing him with the opportunity to get off the mark for the year with no unexposed types waiting in the wings.
