Two victories to his name at this track from 11 starts. Running with credit in four starts since September on both turf and here on the AW. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Has hit the frame on each of the three occasions the son of Slade Power has run over C&D including a win in February off a 17lb lower mark. Open to more improvement.

Sending out a number of mixed messages over the summer with a couple of victories followed by a number of dismal efforts. Looks a tall order on stable debut.

Losing run is mounting up which now stands at 16 with the Dandy Man gelding last tasting victory three years ago. Hard to place any faith in.

Third of nine on his sole start on the AW at Kempton Park 12 months ago when in the care of trainer Denis Quinn. Third of 16 on latest start in a Navan handicap last month and worth a check in the market.

A win and a second on only two runs for John Gosden last year but sold for just 11,000 gns in May. Last but one on a dismal stable debut over 5f at this venue when last seen in September.

Runner-up on just his second visit to the track last month when beaten 1½L behind Geological. Now racing 20lb lower than last winning mark the Kodiac gelding may be liable to a couple of stronger types.

Being kept busy, and clearly thriving on racing,. as she gained her third win of the year when battling to success over 5f at Lingfield on penultimate start for trainer Mark Johnston. Plenty to prove on stable debut.

Three-time winner here but is yet to claim a victory over C&D in five attempts. Plenty more needed in this group.

Forecasts

Urban Beat (3/1), Never Back Down (7/2), Alfredo Arcano (9/2), Cityman (7/1), Geological (8/1), Primo Uomo (10/1), Hit The Silk (10/1), Gordon Lord Byron (12/1), Master Matt (16/1), Nordic Passage (33/1), Plough Boy (33/1), Mr Scarlet (33/1), Key To Power (33/1)

Verdict

The David Marnane-trained ALFREDO ARCANO can get back to winning ways as the five-year-old once again finds himself on his last winning mark. Solid winner of four of his nine starts over C&D can get a decent pull into the race from the eight stall getting the better of the likes of Urban Beat and Never Back Down in the closing stages of the contest. The gallant veteran, Gordon Lord Byron can once again give a good account of himself while Cityman can go well at a price.
