Third of 10 beaten 6¾L in a Carlisle novice handicap chase on his penultimate start 12 months ago. Fell heavily on return at the same venue in March when last seen in a 2m4f handicap chase.
Sole career win in 18 starts came over hurdles. Returns to the larger obstacles where the Kapgarde gelding is without a win in five starts over fences. Others make more appeal.
One of only three winners over the larger obstacles in the contest. Won over 3m at Exeter in March in a soft ground handicap off a 5lb lower mark, getting off the mark at the eighth time of asking. Beaten since but capable of better.
Six chances to get her head in front over the larger obstacles. Career best when second of 10 in a handicap chase at Cheltenham in January. First run since April and may find a couple of better handicapped sorts lurking.
14-race maiden still looking for a breakthrough success in four starts over fences. Running well in defeat in a couple of starts in the spring and capable of a bold bid on return to action following a wind operation.
21-race maiden, suffering nine defeats in France before a move to these shores. Most recent efforts in May and June have been below-par and has not shown enough to be of interest here.
118-rated handicap hurdler, jumped well on the whole on his chasing debut finishing third of seven, beaten 24L at Hereford over 3m1f earlier this month. Can be expected to come on for the run, dropping in trip here.
117-rated handicap hurdler, ran well for a while on debut over the larger obstacles at Fontwell earlier this month before dropping away when beaten three out to finish a 'plugging on' fourth of seven. More needed.
