Half-brother to 2,000 Guineas winner Cockney Rebel, and plenty of other winners in the family too; has shown little in two starts but given that illustrious pedigree, hard to totally discount here.
€70,000 purchase as a 3yo, half-brother to the useful chasers Village Vic and Royal Village, which gives an indication of where his future lies; yard are a whopping 55% with their bumper runners here, and he has to be on anyone's shortlist.
Cost connections £40,000 at Doncaster sales in August after finishing runner-up on only start at Ayr in May, looking green as grass in the process; yard a rare visitor here and he looks one to be interested in here.
Second foal, half-brother to the yard's useful mare Indefatigable, placed at Listed level; yard 1-9 with their bumper runners here, so is at least worth a glance in the market.
Related to a few winners on the Flat and showed some ability himself when fifth at Worcester on bumper debut last month; yard don't have many runners in this sphere nowadays but do pop the odd big-priced winner in.
Cost £70,000 at Cheltenham sales in March after winning only start in a point-to-point very easily; good chasing pedigree and will be all the better for some obstacles, but yard 1-4 with their bumper runners here and commands respect.
Fair MIx mare that was well beaten on only start at Fontwell last month, broke a blood vessel in the process; now hooded and needs an awful lot more here.
Half-sister to the useful if inconsistent hurdler Django Django, which offers some hope for the future, but yard don't get first-time out bumper winners and can only be watched here.
Cost €28,000 as a 3yo, full sister to the yard's smart chaser Shantou Rock and dam a half-sister to Irish National winner Butlers Cabin; clearly a smart prospect and yard 1-2 with their bumper runners here.
Shirocco mare that makes some appeal on pedigree but yard not known for bumper winners and she could be up against it in what looks a hot contest on paper.
Dubai Destination mare that's only beaten the one horse home in two starts and has no realistic chance of success on that here.
Forecasts
Hijack (5/4), Presence Of Mind (9/4), Largy Mouth (5/1), Ever So Cool (10/1), Make Haste Slowly (14/1), Litigate (16/1), Handsome Samson (33/1), Misshirocco (33/1), Eton Pride (50/1), Rose Of Dubai (100/1), Eightsixsix (100/1)
This looks a good bumper on paper, with a few top yards represented, and it could prove informative. HIJACK almost gets the vote on his trainer statistics alone - better than one in two of the bumper runners they bring here win, and he makes a lot of appeal on breeding too. Largy Mouth comes from a yard that don't have many runners here and he has already shown he has ability, so looks the danger, and both Ever So Cool and Presence Of Mind make plenty of appeal.
- Hijack
