Three decent efforts on turf so far over 5f/6f; ought to be competitive if taking to the Polytrack at first time of asking sporting first-time blinkers.

Son of Scat Daddy cost $1,000,000 last year; poor debut at the Curragh over 6f in August but more like it when second since at Navan (5½f, yielding to soft) and can play leading part on AW bow.

Sepoy filly related to some decent winners, much better effort on second start at Down Royal when dropped to 5f despite rearing exiting the stalls; can be involved if building on that run.

Was returning from a year off when beaten just over 2L in fourth of 13 over 6f here this month on stable debut; potential improver now.

Modest maiden, has run better races last two starts on turf but was poor in pair of 2018 starts at this venue and can be opposed on balance of form.

Disappointing favourite in sole AW start for Ralph Beckett but did show potential on turf and interesting to see how market judges on first run for Ger Lyons with blinkers/tongue-tie added.

Second of 15 at Tipperary in June over 5f is the only highlight in a dismal set of performances since returning to action in May. Ran well three times here in maidens last winter.

Forecasts

Yale (2/7), Son And Sannie (5/1), My Excelsa (8/1), Wild Abandon (9/1), Wild Bob Cat (20/1), Midge Maisel (20/1), Sceptical (25/1), Realtin Fantasy (33/1)

Verdict

He's twice been turned over at short odds in as many runs but this looks another strong opportunity for the $1m YALE to get on the board. He ran a fair race on soft ground at Navan last time and should prove hard to beat. Wild Abandon is a possible improver, having shown some promise in Britain before joining Ger Lyons while My Excelsa is also likely to do better after a pleasing start here.
