Similar level of form to date in trio of bumpers and a pair of novice hurdles with her 12L second on good ground at Musselburgh in February her best effort to date. More needed to get off the mark here.
No sign of ability so far in Bumper and two novice hurdles all on good ground. Not hard to look elsewhere.
Markedly better effort on second run over hurdles on latest when 6L third of six stepping up to this trip at Kelso last month. All runs to date on good ground but if coping with this softer surface has the form in the book to go close.
€5,000 three-year-old, fifth foal. Dam won over hurdles and is related to winning hurdlers Junction Fourteen and Definitely Better who both won at this distance over hurdles.
Won a good ground Point-to-point in March by a short head and subsequently sold in August for £19,000. Market should guide on rules debut.
Disappointed on sole start in Bumper when well backed for Tom Lacey and moderate form in two similar events since switching to current yard. Now goes hurdling but needs to be better in this discipline.
Showed a little ability in Point-to-point and a Bumper. Hard to know what she achieved on hurdling debut when second of three to an eased down winner but entitled to improve and one of the likelier ones here on paper.
Fair effort on second of her three runs in bumpers but much too keen when last seen and stamina and ability to cope with soft ground to prove now she switches to hurdles today.
Fifth foal of a dam who was unraced but was related to winners who stayed very well. In the right hands and interesting to see how she fares in market for a race that will take little winning.
Stayed well on the Flat where she gained three handicap wins in 2018 but not as good this term where she is now rated just 44 and now switches to hurdling.
Forecasts
Aurora Thunder (6/4), Animore (3/1), Elle Est Grande (11/2), Chanting Hill (9/1), Millie Of Mayo (12/1), Pammi (18/1), Fair Minx (20/1), Colorado Gold (33/1), Call Me Maizie (50/1), Apache Valley (125/1)
A weak opener that will take little winning and it may be best to go with ELLE EST GRANDE although her Hexham second in a three runner race isn't easy to fully weigh up. In a race where a market move for any of the newcomers would be very interesting, Aurora Thunder looks the best of her rivals on form to date.
- Elle Est Grande
- Aurora Thunder
- Millie Of Mayo
