Sent off 100-1 chance on recent hurdles introduction at Tipperary (2m, soft) and finished tailed off, big ask once again seemingly.
Gelding by Yeats, failed to complete in maiden hurdles either side of a summer layoff, hard to make case for on form having been pulled up at Listowel last month.
Scorpion half-brother to bumper winner/fair hurdler Benny In Milan. Unimpressive introduction in 2m soft-ground novice hurdle at Fairyhouse recently and plenty to be worked on
Mountain High gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner/fair 2m hurdle winner Dollys Destination; would be a surprise scorer first time out.
Far from disgraced on last month's hurdling bow at Roscommon and this extra distance looks favourable as he bids to improve on that seventh of 16 finish (beaten 10¼L).
Finished an excellent second of 21 in juvenile hurdle at Cork (2m, good to soft, 16-1) on second outing over timber in May. Must go on the shortlists upped in trip for this return to action.
Failed to complete in a variety of ways in points, and beaten a long way when fifth of eight to Ballymacaw in maiden bumper at Kilbeggan. Hard to see him getting competitive on hurdles bow.
Fame And Glory gelding. Half-brother to three winners, including smart hurdler Mischievous Milly. Gabbys Cross would appear the trainer's leading player on paper.
Three-race maiden in bumpers, beaten 128L earlier this month finishing last of 15 in a Galway 2m½f National Hunt Flat race on soft to heavy ground.
Half-sister to very smart hurdler Cross Kennon and smart chaser Sumos Novios; she made her mark second time out by landing a Clonmel bumper in June. Up in trip for this hurdles bow and wouldn't like to discount a good run.
Won a Sligo bumper on debut in August before coming up shy in Listed company at Gowran Park this month. Makes hurdles bow for champion trainer and very likely to be competitive.
Shantou filly. Dam, modest novice hurdler, half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser Woodland Opera. Unlikely to make this a winning debut on balance.
By Shantou out of an unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/chaser Sword of Fate (Second Reserve).

Forecasts
Jazzaway (13/8), Dewcup (7/4), My Uncas (7/2), Nero Rock (9/2), Domitian (5/1), Gabbys Cross (5/1), The Wonky Tonk (12/1), Our Friend (14/1), Cornerkova (14/1), Geesala Scorpion (28/1), Wilcos Storm (33/1), Kalu (50/1), Puerto Calero (50/1), Fairoffthecross (50/1), Mr Binman (50/1), Balkos (66/1), Cahirdown Boy (66/1)
The obvious starting point is Dewcup, who ships weight to the field, as he wasn't beaten fair in grade Aintree bumper when last spotted. He's likely to make up into a decent hurdler before long. On paper though there is plenty to like about Henry De Bromhead's newcomer GABBYS CROSS. A winner of his only point-to-point, the €170,000 purchase will know his job on the first day of school and could be above-average. Jazzaway also has fair bumper form and is in the mix along with Nero Rock, second over timber at Cork in May when last out.
