Climbing steadily in the weights after a profitable summer period; 4lb higher than when justifying favouritism at Wolverhampton (1m6f) in August; best to ignore a modest effort over hurdles last weekend; key player with Brodie Hampson aboard.
Traditionally strong at Chepstow, and was a winner there (1m4f, good to soft) in June from a very similar mark; in the mix until weakening late on at Bath (finished sixth of 12) latest; certainly isn't discounted.
Reasonably consistent through the early months of the season but has struggled more latterly (was beaten 11L when placed on his most recent Flat start); unseated rider early on over hurdles at Wincanton last week.
Veteran of 82 races (11 wins); low-key so far in 2019 since recording back-to-back wins during August 2018 (Musselburgh and Windsor); sits on his last winning mark, but it's difficult to be overly confident given his age.
Known as a somewhat quirky individual, although he does also possess a reasonable amount of ability; can only be monitored on his return to action from a 289-day absence; probably one for a winter AW campaign.
Essentially is difficult to win with (23-race Flat maiden; 1-4 over hurdles); 2lb lower than when finishing a staying on third (28-1) to Mandocello at Bath (1m2f) in September; has run inexplicably poorly since.
1-19 career; sole win came for Sophie Smith in a Class 6 lady amateur's handicap at Redcar (1m2f, soft) last autumn (6L winner); kept ticking over this season, slowly slipping back to a more manageable mark; definite claims in a poor race.
Finally off the mark at the 25th attempt when springing an 18-1 surprise at Ffos Las (1m4f, good) - beat Visor by a head; less effective next time at Bath, and that's generally been the story of his racing career; inconsistent.
Eight-race maiden; made the frame (beaten in excess of 5L) on handicap debut at Windsor (1m3f+, good) in July; hasn't exactly set the world alight since and rates as a generally unappealing mare.

A weak and very winnable race, seemingly a fair bit less competitive than Division 1 scheduled for 30-minutes earlier. Therefore, it should probably pay to forgive the likeable PERCY PROSECCO for a disappointing run over hurdles at Stratford last week. Consistent on the Flat under today's rider Brodie Hampson, his recent form stands out head and shoulders above that of his rivals. Despite climbing steadily in the weights, he should make a good fist of adding a third straight Flat win to his CV. Possible place alternatives include the well-weighted Grandscape (Ed Dunlop) and the Chepstow specialist Ascot Day (Bernard Llewellyn).
