Tailed off in April on hurdles debut, ran a better race in September over 2m5f at his track; should finish closer this time but still might not be up to winning this dropped in distance.
Good winner of a Loughrea point-to-point this month and since joined locally-based trainer, who runs two in this event. Market should guide, but looks the more likely of the pair.
Son of Sixties Icon, achieved a rating of 86 on the Flat in England before joining Noel Meade and winner at 2m+ around York last summer. Fitness to prove after absence but market prominence would be notable.
Robin Des Champs gelding. Dam won bumper sole start. One of three in these colours and betting will be informative.
Tailed off on hurdles bow at Fairyhouse in April for Philip Fenton, relocated to this trainer since and should be capable of better in time.
Ran well in 2-3 starts in bumpers earlier in the year, this French-bred gelding is entitled to have designs on progress as a jumper.
Schiaparelli gelding. Dam modest 2m1f-2m5f hurdle winner. Showed some promise with placed efforts in point-to-points and could have a say on rules bow.

German bred son of Getaway is expected to learn plenty from this debut experience, but remains worthy of a market check nonetheless.
Long-standing maiden in point-to-points, cut no ice in last month's rules bow in a maiden hurdle at Roscommon (2m4f, heavy; 50-1) and likely to struggle again.
Off the mark at second time of asking when taking a bumper at Naas in January, the form of which was decent. Makes hurdles bow on return and well-bred Oscar gelding needs a close look.
Well beaten 50-1 chance on debut in Cork maiden hurdle over 2m4f in March and he'll have to improve dramatically for the summer break to be getting on the board now.
Mr Combustible gelding, not the most attractive on pedigree and others are preferred ahead of this first run.
Hinted at ability in a few point-to-point contests but quite disappointing on only hurdles start at Listowel in September; could improve but others preferred on balance.
Flat maiden, fair effort over 1m6f here in August. Could be more to come if improving for meeting hurdles.
Third of eight, beaten over 15L, on debut in a bumper at Fairyhouse in April before tailed off effort following month at Punchestown. Returns with improvement to find meeting hurdles.
Fairyhouse bumper scorer in January, well-held subsequently in Listed novice hurdle at Naas in March. Off since and better to come, trainer also has Thatsy in the line-up.

Half-brother to useful sort Bally Longford, finished in his own time on debut in a Navan bumper last month and can only be watched not tackling hurdles as such.

Gordon Elliot has a strong representation with Thatsy having found only one too strong over further here on hurdles bow and Thunder Down Under having plenty potential for improvement this season. The former is preferred but a chance is taken on the returning LATEST EXHIBTION. He won a Naas bumper in January nicely, the form of which is decent, and should be able to give the forecast market leader something to think about. Even Flight and Davy's Dilemma are two jumping newcomers to be noted.

- Thatsy
