By Vocalised out of a USA bred mare. Half-brother to two winners, one over hurdles. Likely to improve on pleasing debut run at Navan last month finishing second of 18 to Gold Speed.
Gelding by Scalo out of an Exit To Nowhere mare. Well held on debut at Perth last month but no surprise to witness an improved effort here.

25/1
Carlotamix gelding out of a Portrait Gallery mare. Half-sister to winning chaser Brown Sedge. Best watched on debut unless market vibes suggest otherwise.
Gelding by Gold Well out of a Rudimentary mare. Closely related to Madera Express winner in bumper company. One to watch in the market on debut with high profile jockey booking.
Gelding by Cokoriko out of a Subotica mare. Dam unraced half-sister to useful French 2m1f-2m5f hurdle/chase winner Quitto Bleu. Yards bumper debutantes usually improve for first appearance.

33/1
Windsor Knot gelding out of a Carroll House mare. Closely related to point-to-point winner Royal Chant. Unlikely to be a good sign that he wear a hood on debut.

8/1
By Yeats out of a maiden on the point-to-point circuit. Not disgraced on debut run at Galway earlier this month but possibly best watched as the gelding gains experience.
Oscar gelding out of a Vinnie Roe mare. Ridden to hit the frame on both career point-to-point starts earlier this year. Holds leading claims on debut.

Gelded son of High Chaparral out of an Elusive City mare. Dam hit the frame on both career starts between 6½f and 7½f in France. Co Cork yard not noted for bumper runners.
Cloudings mare whose dam was unraced. Sixth of nine beaten 12L when held up in the early stages of her debut run at Galway last month. More needed in this contest.
Daughter of Dylan Thomas out of a Dushyantor mare. Led when running freely until 4f out on debut at Cork in May before weakening to be beaten 22L finishing 11th of 18. Others preferred.

Forecasts

The Bosses Oscar (6/4), Bombay Blue (2/1), Flash (7/1), Pottlerath (8/1), Wellsiraussie (10/1), Silver Sedge (25/1), Out By Six (25/1), Knot On Time (33/1), Desert Maid (33/1), Fortfield Lady (40/1), Western Dreaming (50/1)

Verdict

The Noel Meade-trained BOMBAY BLUE will be better for the experience when failing to quicken with the winner on debut at Navan last month and having to settle for second in the 18-runner contest. The gelding can land the closer ahead of The Bosses Oscar for the trainer/jockey combination of Gordon Elliott and Jamie Codd. The booking of Patrick Mullins for the ride on debutante, Wellsiraussie is enough for a market check as post time approaches while Flash for the Liz Doyle yard and Out By Six would not surprise if hitting the frame.
  1. Bombay Blue
  2. The Bosses Oscar
  3. Wellsiraussie
