Disappointed on latest start in a three-runner contest at Downpatrick earlier this month. One of two in the contest for leading connections and not without a chance.
Solid 159-rated son of Kings Theatre over the larger obstacles. Most recent start over hurdles came in a Cork 2m4f contest in July beating five rivals ½L. Highest rated in the contest.
Had been in fine form over the summer notching up a hat-trick but has been below par on his latest three starts. Could prove biggest danger to main protagonist.
Failed to complete in five of his last six over obstacles for Joseph O'Brien and finished last of 16, tailed off beaten 51L on stable debut at Punchestown earlier this month.
Winner of three of his 18 starts over hurdles but the Vinnie Roe gelding appears to be regressing over both fences and hurdles of late failing to complete on a number of starts since a run at Listowel last month.

The Peter Fahey-trained PEREGRINE RUN looks a solid option to add to his five career hurdle wins to date. The nine-year-old is rated 8lb and 9lb ahead of his nearest rival over hurdles coming into this contest. Second in the Grade 2 Powers Chase at Gowran Park earlier this month the gelding can get back to winning ways here at the expense of the Gordon Elliott pair Elwood and Westland Row, the mount of Davy Russell.
