Enjoying a great run with five wins since May, including last time over C&D where showed a fine attitude. 8lb higher mark makes life much tougher but should gain give a good account of himself.
Last two wins have both come here, but over fences. Pulled up at Stratford in June when last seen and switches to timber seemingly to try exploit a more favourable handicap mark. Fitness has to be taken on trust.
Only 2-43 winning ratio but has been keeping decent company over fences of late. Back to smaller obstacles now at more realistic level then Listed event last time. Chance, but not easy to win with.
Hasn't won for more than four years. Had wind surgery this summer before showing little on Flat at Kempton in August. Fairly handicapped on old form though so not without hope if there are any positive market signs.
10-race maiden whose best effort came when runner-up over 2m4f at Worcester in August. Soundly beaten both starts since so very hard to make a strong case for him.
In good form this time last year winnig at Bangor and Ayr when trained by Gordon Elliott. Not in same form since for current yard and showed little when only beating one home at Fontwell last time time.
Went very close off 9lb higher mark at Worcester in July on first start after wind surgery. Hasn't cut much ice in four starts since but handicapper has relented and would have a squeak if bouncing back to form.
Won Worcester 2m7f seelling hurdle last year prior to joining current handler. Didn't show a great deal in three starts last winter but undeniably well handicapped on pick of form of old. Hard to know how much ability he retains though.
Three-year-old taking on older horses. Won juvenile hurdle at Plumpton in September and was sound third in similar event to this last time at Huntingdon, tiring late on. Easier track here may help and is an intriguing contender.
Last win came at Uttoxeter last term in 2m6f handicap chase and this trip over timber looks very much on the sharp side for him. Well beaten when last seen in the spring and hard to enthuse over on return.
Forecasts
Global Tour (5/4), Limelighter (10/3), Cold Shoulder (7/1), Valseur Du Granval (12/1), Mix Of Clover (14/1), Jamacho (14/1), Affaire D'Honneur (14/1), Go West Young Man (16/1), Fact Flow (25/1), Jalingo (33/1)
Most of these have been struggling of late so this may rest between the bang in-form top weight GLOBAL TOUR and the unexposed juvenile Limelighter, with preference marginally for the former who seems to keep finding a way to defy the handicapper. Limelighter ran really well last time in a similar event and there could be some improvement in him so he rates a serious danger. Go West Young Man faces a more realistic task than his latest outing and has each-way prospects, while both Affaire D'Honeur and Jalingo are nicely weighted if they can rediscover a bit of old form.

- Limelighter
- Go West Young Man
