Ended last term with convincing win over 2m at Stratford and carried on where she left off winning 2m3f novice hurdle at Bangor. Steps up again in trip but gives imrpessin she'll stay and will make a bold bid for the hat-trick.
Fair Mix mare who has had just two career starts, both in bumpers in the spring but showed only very modest form. Hurdle bow but hard to see her figuring on what we've seen so far.
Yard won this race in 2014 but this mare showed very little worthwhile form in two outings over hurdles at Huntingdon last winter. Returns from long break and will do very well to shake up the principals.
Landed 3m mares point-to-point last winter then sold to current connections for £16,000. Yard in good form at moment so worth monitoring for any market interest, but has plenty to find.
Landed mares bumper at Doncaster in January on second Rules start, then outclassed in Listed bumper only subsequent start at Sandown in March. Makes hurdles bow for in-form yard and has ability so is worth a second glance.
In-form yard going for hat-trick in this race. Placed in both bumpers in early 2018 prior to poor run in bumper here a year ago. Pulled up when well beaten in Hereford hurdle in January and not seen since. Any market interest would be significant.
Fair bumper form for Chris Down this summer, scoring on final start at Fontwell last month. Debuts here for top yard and looks a major player assuming she takes to jumping hurdles.
Fame And Glory mare bought for €25,000 in 2017. In touch on debut in recent Chepstow novice hurdle until blundered badly at fifth and subsequently pulled up at 7th. Something to prove in first-time hood but too early to write her off.
Forecasts
Legends Gold (4/7), Redbridge Gold (7/2), Shantou Sunset (9/2), Proper Ticket (12/1), Ruby Tiger (16/1), Ziggy Rose (22/1), Miss Molinari (50/1), Happy News (100/1)
Legends Gold should make a very bold bid-to complete a hat-trick and won't be easy to beat after winning very well last time. At the likely odds though a chance is taken on hurdles debutante SHANTOU DAWN, a bumper winner at Fontwell last month, who has her first start for a top yard and has given the imrpession she will take to this game. Redbridge Gold won a Doncaster bumper last year and was outclassed in a hot race after that. She has possibilities, as too do Ziggy Rose and Ruby Tiger, the latter hailing from a yard that has a fine record here.
