Seven race maiden was placed in three handicaps over an extended 2m3f on good going at Bangor in the spring. Raised 5lb for latest effort and is interesting on return from a break.
Fair fourth over 2m at Worcester (good) on his penultimate start but struggled over the same C&D on soft ground subsequently. Worth a check in the market on this occasion.
12 race maiden was beaten 9½L when ninth in a 2m5f handicap hurdle at Warwick (good) earlier this month. Drop in trip looks likely to suit.
Returning from wind surgery when 50L last of seven over an extended 2m at Bangor (soft) on handicap debut in March. Hood worn for the first time that day is retained stepping up in trip on seasonal debut.
Victorious three times over fences in France but has struggled since joining this stable during the summer. Races off a mark 5lb lower than when beaten 18L over C&D on good-to-soft ground earlier this month.
Best effort in three hurdles starts came when 27L seventh over 2m at Warwick (good) in May. Market support would be notable on handicap debut.
Fair 16L fifth in a handicap hurdle over an extended 2m4f at Plumpton (good) in April. Cheekpieces worn for the first time that day are retained for this seasonal reappearance.
Failed to figure when beaten 55L over an extended 1m7f at Southwell (good) on handicap debut in April. More needed stepping up in distance on handicap debut.
Placed three times in point-to-points but has struggled in three starts under Rules to date most recently when 94L last of ten over an extended 2m on good ground here in July. Tongue tie tried for the first time on handicap debut.
Point-to-point bumper winner over 2m on heavy ground at Alnwick in April 2018. Disappointing since however including when 21L sixth over this trip at Market Rasen (good) last time out.
Point-to-point winner scored on heavy ground in a handicap chase at Leicester (2m) in March last year. Fair form since including when 10L fifth over 2m5f at Kempton (good) in May. Blinkers worn for the first time that day are retained.
14 race maiden returned from a short break with a 51L ninth at Worcester (2m, soft) last month. Cheekpieces worn that day are absent on this occasion with tongue tie worn previously returning.
24 race maiden was beaten 36L when sixth over an extended 1m7f at Southwell (good) early last month. More needed if he is to take this event.
Maiden after nine starts and shaped as if a drop back in trip would suit when 43L fifth over an extended 2m7f at Uttoxeter (good-to-soft) in June. Interesting to see how she performs following a break.
Struggled in eight starts since returning from a long absence at the start of this year. Has won off higher marks in the past but is probably best watched racing from out of the handicap.
Forecasts
Armattiekan (4/1), Telegraph Place (11/2), Lochinver (7/1), Kilinakin (8/1), Ishyaboi (9/1), Jones Well (10/1), Kapsize (11/1), Bells Of Peterboro (14/1), Vereina (14/1), Highland Bobby (16/1), Freedom Chimes (16/1), Three County's (25/1), Rathbride Prince (33/1), The Late Legend (33/1), All Riled Up (33/1)
ARMATTIEKAN has shown decent form in all three handicap starts so far and he can get off the mark by defying top weight to take this competitive looking event. The selection can see off Kilinakin who is making his return from a break while Kapsize, a three-time winner over fences in France can take third.
- Armattiekan
- Kilinakin
- Kapsize
