Looked useful when making all over hurdles at Hereford last March, and made a decent enough chase debut behind the classy Defi Du Seuil at Exeter last December; a slight concern he's not been out since then, but has scope and one to consider.
Had three chase starts to date, winning one of them, and has improved a little on each occasion; slight drop back in trip here might help after just getting touched off over 3m at Bangor last time, and no reason not to go well again.
Closely related to useful chaser Tornado In Milan, makes chase debut today; generally progressive over hurdles last year, stays well and acts on all ground; yard not yet really hit stride and he may need this after a break, so others preferred.
Made the most of an easy task at Carlisle last November but form rather tailed off in the spring and he starts off over fences with a little to prove; has to scope to make a chaser but this trip an unknown too, and others make a bit more appeal.
Out of his depth on final start of last year at Sandown, but had previously looked good when winning with something in hand at Ffos Las; full brother to the top class chaser Topofthegame, and goes into the "could be anything" bracket now chasing.
Came good when upped in trip at Bangor on final start of last year, and has always looked the type to do better once seeing a fence; should be loads more to come from him this year and a threat to all if jumping soundly today.
Has the size to make a chaser, but technique let him down on more than one occasion last year and it never really happened for him; meets some potentially smart sorts here and needs a clear round at the very least if he's to get competitive.
Quietly progressive last year and gained a deserved success at Plumpton last December; makes chase debut today and has the scope for it, but possible she'll need this outing after summer break, and others just preferred.

Forecasts
Captain Drake (15/8), Diablo De Rouhet (11/4), Westend Story (5/1), Fortified Bay (15/2), Clondaw Anchor (10/1), Carrick Roads (10/1), Golden Whisky (10/1), Royal Claret (16/1), Louse Talk (20/1)
A good race for the money and it should prove informative. Diablo De Rouhet is the one to beat on chase form shown so far, and he could easily put his experience to good use, but there are some very unexposed sorts in this, not least GOLDEN WHISKY and Carrick Roads. Both look just the sort to do better over fences this year and the former, who has the pedigree to go a long way, is taken to come out on top. Westend Story is another that could easily do better this term.
- Golden Whisky
- Carrick Roads
- Diablo De Rouhet
