Course winner to end last season off a 2lb lower mark coping well with testing conditions over 2m1f. Should prove effective over this longer trip although it does have to be taken on trust that he's ready to go, stable are rather quiet at the moment.
Useful sort on the Flat in France and may not have quite shown his full range of potential over hurdles having been placed on his last two handicap starts. Races off the same mark as his last two starts; unexposed and one to watch in the market.
From a stable that should always be respected with their runners here he's proved to be consistent since wining last April. Just failed to gain another win at Perth last time (jumping let him down in the closing stages); should make an impression.
Progressive in handicaps in the early part of this year winning three of his last four start at this trip and further on a variety of surfaces. Back from a break he now has an 11lb higher mark to cope with but far from ruled out.
Been in good form over the summer running to a consistent level; scored twice at Perth and Cartmel before failing to justify support last time at Hexham. Didn't quite see out the 2m4f trip on heavy ground last time; still looks in form.
Never really fired over hurdles since recording a quick fire hat-trick last autumn but has now slipped back below that last winning mark. Did looks as though he may be coming back to form at Kelso last time, does need to be able to follow up.
Perth specialist who recorded his sixth course win there in May with plenty of consistent efforts to his name since at that track. Failed to justify strong support there last time and others make more appeal now he's away from his home track.
In better form for this yard initially when scoring on his first start for them over hurdles and following up on the Flat. Hasn't been able to repeat that level of performance since with her latest three starts leaving a lot to be desired.

Forecasts
Tegerek (5/2), Mega Double (11/4), Farmer Boy (9/2), Romeo Brown (6/1), I'd Better Go Now (7/1), Green Zone (10/1), Arctic Road (10/1), Iolani (14/1), Gray Day (20/1), Camile (66/1)
Competitive first division of this 2m4f handicap hurdle with plenty that can be given a chance. Jonjo O’Neill took this last year and his Tegerek looks to be heading in the right direction in handicap company along with the likes of Arctic Road who progressed through the handicap ranks last year and may well have more to offer. Nigel Hawke makes the long trek from his Devon base with Farmer Boy who if he brushes up his jumping has to be of interest given the trainer’s good record here. I'D BETTER GO NOW makes his first foray into handicaps off the back of a wind op and this looks to be the scenario he’s been waiting for.
- I'd Better Go Now
- Farmer Boy
- Tegerek
