Good winner of a Warwick Grade 2 over 2m5f in January before pulling up in the Grade 1 Ballymore Novices at Cheltenham in March. Chasing debut from a yard who have produced three October winners at this venue in the last four years.
Returned solid bumper and hurdling results last term. Ran well in defeat on his only calendar start this year at Newcastle in March, beaten a short head behind Lucky Lover Boy. Likely to go well on chasing debut.
Top class 164-rated hurdler. Seasonal best last term was to follow home Paisley Park in the Grade 1 Stayers hurdle at Cheltenham in March. Likely to be popular in the market on chasing introduction.
Lightly-raced 128-rated hurdler. Last seen on his only start in the calendar year pulling up in a Newcastle 2m½f in March. Plenty to prove on chase debut on return to action.
Nothing of note in four career starts over hurdles between November last year and when last seen in March. Looks up against it here.

Beakstown (10/11), Sam Spinner (5/4), Mr Antolini (5/1), Return Ticket (16/1), Vado Forte (20/1), Warendorf (150/1)
Top class hurdler SAM SPINNER may have been found an ideal opening by trainer Jed O'Keefe to get his chasing career off to a winning start in this contest. Prone to the odd error over hurdles the Black Sam Bellamy gelding is sure to be well prepped for debut over the larger obstacles. The Dan Skelton and Nigel Twiston-Davies yards both hold solid and consistent figures at this track in October and their pair Beakstown and Mr Antolini merit plenty of respect on chasing debut.
