16/1

Angel Of My Heart¹⁰⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 9-7| J: P Mulrennan| T: M & D Easterby| OR: 57

7/1

Comfortably held (beaten 8½L) when a keeping on second over 1m2½f at Savenay (France) in June; has left H.A. Pantall since to join Mick Easterby (for 4,500gns); worthy of market inspection over a new trip on GB debut.

Form: 00-82

Loose Chippings⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 9-7| J: D C Costello| T: I Furtado| OR: 57| BF

13/8

In fine fettle of late, simply paying the price deep inside the final furlong for a forceful ride over C&D (third) last week; 2lb higher with Dougie Costello taking over in the saddle from claimer Gabriele Malune.

Mongolia¹²

Age: 3| Weight: 8-10| J: L Morris| T: M Appleby| OR: 52

Mountain Of Stars¹²⁰

Age: 4| Weight: 8-10| J: Faye McManoman⁽⁵⁾| T: Suzzanne France| OR: 45

80/1

12-race maiden with very modest form (5f-7f); steps up noticeably in trip on return from a 120-day absence; makes no appeal whatsoever; look elsewhere for the solution.

Form: 7-50000

(2)

Risk Mitigation^v⁸

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: B A Curtis| T: P D Evans| OR: 50| BF

6/1

Nine-race maiden (0-3 AW); placed on a couple of occasions on turf (1m-1m2f); 3-1f when unable to reach the leaders in finishing fourth (beaten 2L) in a 1m2f Leicester seller (heavy) last week.

Form: 824374

Feebi³⁰

Age: 3| Weight: 8-8| J: Paula Muir⁽⁵⁾| T: C W Fairhurst| OR: 50| D

5/1

Sprung a real surprise when winning from outside of the handicap at Thirsk (1m4f, good to firm) four weeks ago - the third has won over hurdles since; 5lb higher on Fibresand debut; certainly isn't discounted.

Forecasts

Loose Chippings (13/8), Mongolia (4/1), Feebi (5/1), Starplex (5/1), Risk Mitigation (6/1), Angel Of My Heart (7/1), It's Never Enough (16/1), Thespinningwheel (50/1), Mountain Of Stars (80/1)

STARPLEX holds an entry at Musselburgh (5.25pm) on Tuesday and has been heavily supported for that race on his return to Keith Dalgleish (from Kenny Johnson). Therefore, with the distinct possibility of an incurred penalty a watching and waiting brief is advised before firming up punting plans. At this stage, we do know for certain that Loose Chippings (holds Mongolia) is in fine fettle on this Fibresand surface, while Feebi seeks to build upon her surprise win at Thirsk (1m4f) from a lowly official rating of 50. Of the remainder, Angel Of My Heart should be monitored in the market now stepping up in trip on GB debut for Mick Easterby.
