Baadirr¹⁰³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: Cieren Fallon⁽³⁾| T: W J Haggas| OR: 82| BF

11/10

Showed promise at Newbury (6f+) early/mid season, including when beaten 2¾L by Mottrib (on soft); less effective on a sound surface at Doncaster latest (103 days ago); half-brother to a Tapeta winner (Swiss Belle); sets the form standard.

Form: 724

(3)

Born To Destroy³⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: L Morris| T: R Spencer| OR: 81

11/10

Consistent during a six-race career to date (often placed); always towards the fore when worried out of it close home by Cheat at Kempton (7f) six weeks ago -demoted to third; realistic contender on Fibresand debut.

Form: 43239D

(2)

Bulldozer

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: Alistair Rawlinson| T: M Appleby

11/1

€19,000 foal; £26,000 yearling; tenth foal; half-brother to six winners, including Exning Hall (1m1f+) and Reiffa (5f); should handle this Fibresand surface and carries the well known silks of The Horse Watchers; market a helpful guide.

Form:

(4)

Fear Naught⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: P J McDonald| T: George Baker

25/1

Half-brother to a couple of winners, including the versatile hurdler Lethal Steps; low-key in two starts to date (over 1m at Sandown and Brighton); must take a major leap forward on AW debut; rates as an unlikely candidate.

Form: 86

(5)

Escalade¹³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Ryan Tate| T: Sir Mark Prescott

33/1

Canford Cliffs filly who is likely to need further (1m2f-1m4f) with time; finished a comfortably held eighth of 11 in a reasonably competitive fillies' novice at Chelmsford (7f) a fortnight ago.

Form: 78

Forecasts

Baadirr (11/10), Born To Destroy (11/10), Bulldozer (11/1), Fear Naught (25/1), Escalade (33/1)

Baadirr sets the form standard and with experience of racing on soft ground previously should easily take to the Fibresand surface. However, Baadirr is returning from a 103-day absence and has stamina to definitively prove at 7f, so the Richard Spencer-trained BORN TO DESTROY provides the 'risk-free' alternative. This consistent Camacho colt deserves to break the maiden tag sooner rather than later.
