Twice a winner this year he followed up his latest win at Salisbury with two sound subsequent efforts before running one of his lesser races last time. Finished well held over 2m last time; may well find life tough off this sort of mark.
From last year's winning stable and fits a familiar pattern being a useful hurdler exploiting a lowly Flat handicap mark. Makes his handicap debut in this sphere but is far from harshly handicapped; should find it easy to exploit this lenient mark.
First run back from wind surgery but still wearing a tongue-tie having finished a respectable third when last seen at Ffos Las (1m6f); had the run of the race. Mark eased slightly again and will handle the ground but no more than a place chance.
Two ineffective and underwhelming starts for this yard having had a try over hurdles for Paul Webber when also given a wind op. Looks limited on what he's shown so far and of little interest going forward.
Has shown some fair form in the past on the Flat (AW) and over hurdles but hasn't impressed since joining this yard. Certainly wasn't on a going day last time when finishing last on the AW at Lingfield; best watched for now.
Upped markedly in trip last time on the Flat (has won a bumper at 2m) over 1m6f at Ffos Las took a step forward in terms of form in a first-time hood. Tongue-tie now goes on for the first time up to 2m1f; one of the more likely sorts.
Very easy winner at Southwell (1m6f) last month (emphatic scorer by 11L) he only ran respectably returned to the same venue, troubled by the shorter trip (1m4f). Interesting back on turf and up in trip again; should be on the shortlist.
Failed to build on the promise of his previous run when getting far too lit-up in first-time blinkers at Kempton (2m, AW) last time. His previous form gives him hope here if he can settle better; only lightly-raced so not one to be given up on yet.
Offered little when last seen on the Flat and ventures back into this sphere having been pulled up in a recent hurdles start. Little solid form to go on and hard to say he even makes limited appeal.
Has some useful hurdles form to his name although he is struggling in that discipline of late (pulled up the last twice). Returns from a break now but has little real form in this sphere; 3lb out of the weights, faces a difficult task.
Beaten nearly 50L on his last AW start the options for making a solid case for him are distinctly limited. Temperament is also under suspicion, one to treat with caution.

The Nicholls, Paul and Megan teamed up to win this last year with a well handicapped useful hurdler brought back to the Flat and look to have found another likely candidate in QUEL DESTIN who very much fits that same modus operandi; he’ll prove hard to beat off this mark. Beyond the market leader the race looks a thin one with lots of disappointing types in opposition although Cochise, Bambys Boy and Land Of Winter all have claims of landing a place having shown ability of late to varying degrees on the level.
