Won back-to-back this summer and gives the impression this sort of mark is within grasp with nose second at Kempton and 1L third at Ayr the last twice. Softer ground here a slight concern but claims otherwise rock-solid.
Heavy ground winner over this trip at Leicester just last week and having avoided a penalty for that he surely has very strong claims again on ground he is highly appreciative of.
10-race maiden but seems to have taken a step forward since being gelded with a fourth in a Chelmsford handicap and third in a Chester novice race. More appealing today than he ever has been before.
Seven-time winner is on a 17-race losing run and having not made the frame or even got near to doing so this simmer he is best avoided.
Seemed to be gaining a level of consistency in the summer but disappointing after a three-month break at Chelmsford last time out although she may come on for that run.
4L second to re-opposing Mitigator here in the summer this maiden's best effort. 11lb better off with that rival today but that because he has been in fine form where this gelding since has disappointed.
Fairly useful handicapper in the past but performed to nothing like his previous levels of late over a variety of trips on turf/AW. Type this yard can rejuvenate from out of the blue although the market may well signal his current wellbeing.
C&D winner ran next at Chelmsford in finishing second before disappointing at Kempton latest. Win came on good to firm and only previous soft ground run was poor so that a concern.
Only placed once for Michael Bell and beat just one rival in two starts for this yard so makes no appeal.
Took a big step forward when going very close in C&D maiden handicap (good to firm) on before running a a stinker back here last month. Midfield on AW since so her form is very inconsistent indeed.
Has done the rounds regarding trainers but hasn't looked like building on sole win in Ireland in 2017 despite a drastically reduced mark.

Forecasts
Stallone (10/11), Ecstasea (6/1), Dutch Story (7/1), Reconnaissance (7/1), Bullington Boy (8/1), Mitigator (10/1), Reasoned (11/1), Kodiac Lass (14/1), Pentland Lad (14/1), Pecheurs De Perles (18/1), Penarth Pier (20/1), Doogan's Warren (25/1), Secret Treaties (33/1), Face Like Thunder (33/1), Lacan (50/1), Any Smile (50/1)
This looks a fine opportunity for STALLONE to follow up his Leicester win six days ago having avoided a penalty and indeed he's one to be on the right side of at present with this ground seemingly favoured. The biggest danger looks Mitigator who is knocking on the door of a third win this season at present although unexposed Ecstasea is also one to note.
- Stallone
- Mitigator
