Popular veteran running well over the summer including a win at Downpatrick (2m3f) in June similar form when second there on last two starts, but last run was at 2m7½f, and this trip may be too sharp.
In frame several times last season without threatening a win, and while he might have needed the run when pulled up last time, he has another absence to defy now, and makes limited appeal.
Has shown very little over fences, but well treated on the pick of his hurdles form, and no surprise to see him improve markedly on handicap debut.
Placed at 2½m here over hurdles last November, and generally creditable efforts since, showing similar form over fences. Can do better in this sphere, but stays well and drop to 2m not a positive.
21-race maiden who has failed to hit the target in four starts over the larger obstacles. Not entirely disgraced at Clonmel nine days ago, but needs to step up markedly.
In rude health at the moment, backing up a Wexford win with pleasing second at Tramore. Not at all discredited at Sligo last time, and likely to go close on balance of form.
15-race maiden who has failed to hit the frame in five starts over the larger obstacles since May. Some promise on penultimate start after a break, but ran poorly at Clonmel recently, and plenty to prove after that.
