Half-sister to bumper winner Belle Amis out of smart bumper and hurdles winner and Supreme Novices Hurdle third Amaretto Rose. Tailed off in two bumpers last season, returns for hurdling bow with new tongue-tie.

5/1
Showed promise in two Irish bumpers prior to being sold for £48,000 to her current connections. Turned over as odds-on chance on stable bow at Stratford last month and poor since at Worcester. Makes hurdling debut with something to prove.

Figarella Borget170
Age: 4|  Weight: 11-0| J: C Gethings| T: S Edmunds
20/1
Network filly whose dam won at up to 3m and is half-sister to no less a horse than the great Sprinter Sacre. Well held both bumper runs in the spring (fancied on debut) and now back from a break to commence hurdling career.

Six-race maiden, failed to complete in two 2017 starts over timber and tailed off at Taunton (2m3f, good) in April off a 596-day absence. Not seen since, hard to recommend. Sports first-time hood.

Placed six times on the Flat most recently off a mark of 59 at Windsor (1m2f, good) in August. Tailed off last month at Newton Abbot on hurdles bow and needs dramatic step forward in first-time hood.

Forecasts

Verdict

Paul Nicholls does very well at his local track and the champion trainer may land the opening race of the new campaign at this venue with GET THE APPEAL. The mare looked quite useful in her point-to-point run in the spring before joining the ranks at Ditcheat and has been found a nice starting point. Eva's Diva has the best form from her Stratford run but was poor last time while Figarella Borget came in for some support on bumper bow in the spring and perhaps can improve now.
  1. Get The Appeal
  2. Eva's Diva
  3. Figarella Borget
