Went close in a C&D seller (good to firm) last time, handles soft, and should appreciate slight drop in grade now back in a handicap. Should be thereabouts.
Heavy ground winner, who is 2-21 so far. Went very close here (6f) when 5lb higher, in July, and is well treated on both that and some earlier form this season. Visor replaces cheekpieces. No surprise if she goes close.
Goes well on soft ground and won on it again at Salisbury (7f) last time, in a 0-70. Up 3lb for that, but in a weaker race, and enters calculations in this follow-up attempt.
Sliding in the weights, but could give her a squeak on a couple of handicap efforts from higher marks already this season. Not as effective last time out on her first try on soft, however, so has a bit to prove.
1-20, but that win came on soft at Chepstow (1m) in 2017, when 1lb lower. Was not far away on heavy at Haydock in June, but has now been a beaten favourite on all her last five starts, so not easy to fancy for the win.
Well held in all four starts so far, including on her handicap debut from today's mark at Chelmsford last time. Unraced on ground slower than good. Others preferred.
3-54. Acts on soft, but yet to win on slower than good. Has not been finding much at the end of his races this season, and despite a 2lb drop, others have stronger claims.
Well held in all starts so far, including when last of 11 here (1m, good to firm) last time.
Well over three years now since her sole turf win from 26 attempts. Made the frame in a couple of class 6 and class 7 events over 7f earlier this season, but not easy to make a case for her on recent evidence.
0-15 and well beaten in all four starts this season. Can only watch.

Jean Valjean (5/2), Milan Reef (7/2), Field of Vision (7/2), Another Boy (7/1), My Law (8/1), Cotubanama (11/1), Cooperess (14/1), Cheerful (20/1), Counterfeit (25/1), Vicky Cristina (40/1), Plissken (50/1)
This looks the easier of the two divisions and given his win last time the suggestion is to stick with ANOTHER BOY, who has just a 3lb rise to defy and acts on soft ground. The two above him in the weights, Jean Valjean and Cotubanama are most likely to put it up to him. Milan Reef has disappointed a few times lately and if anything is to finish in the money at a price it may be the well treated, but recently below par Counterfeit.
- Another Boy
- Jean Valjean
- Cotubanama
