Impressive 11L winner of a maiden hunter chase over an extended 2m6f on yielding-to-soft ground last December before running well at same track on handicap debut in March; interesting contender and one to note if looking fit after long absence.
Lost his way somewhat over hurdles and fences over the summer having been showing reasonable form this time last year; long break may have freshened him up and not without a chance on his best form.
Nine-race maiden whose two chase appearances have been marred by poor jumping; obvious open to improvement over the larger obstacles but it will be a surprise to see him being good enough to land this.
Was spot on when returning from a four-month absence to score recently at Sligo over 2m1f; the manner of that success suggests there may be more to come and it would no surprise to see him run a big race again.
Has been well beaten on his last two starts over hurdles but won last time out over fences at Tramore in August; certainly one to consider but may just be too high in the weights at present.
Point-to-point winner (1-3), has also been successful over hurdles (1-4). Yet to strike over fences; pulled up or tailed off on last three starts over fences and best left alone at present.
Four-race maiden over fences, the daughter of Kalanisi needs to rediscover the form that saw her finish second of eight at Thurles in March. Plenty to prove.
Was a bumper and hurdles winner back in his youth but has been out of form for a long time and others preferred.
First four starts over fences have left a little to be desired producing dismal efforts on each occasion. Hard to place any faith in.
Winner of two of his 12 starts over the larger obstacles and comes here on the back of an improved performance last time out (tailed off the time before) at Sligo but needs to improve again to get competitive.
Won three hurdles races in quick succession in April/May but has been off the track since; chase form looks below what is needed to win this and is very difficult to assess; maybe best seeing what the market thinks.
Always seems to be well supported in the market but has yet to reward backs over fences; better effort last time out and step up in trip may help.

Shanroe Al C (11/8), Gold Seal (5/1), Dontdooddson (7/1), Glorious Galway (8/1), Hilltop Supreme (8/1), Vinnwarr (10/1), Whoyakodding (12/1), Robin De Roost (12/1), Disco Musik (16/1), Madaboy Cross (20/1), Thinkitplanitdoit (20/1), A Girl Like Me (25/1), Steelambition (40/1)
DONTDOODDSON won reasonably well last time out at Sligo and a repeat of that effort could see him following up given he still looks well handicapped. On the downside, he can put in the odd poor performance. Glorious Galway comes here after a long break and his fitness will be taken on trust; his last two chase efforts have been promising and if improving again, he may give the selection most to do. Shanroe Al C comes here looking for a four-timer but his last three wins have been over hurdles. He will certainly be full of confidence and may take his return to the larger obstacles in his stride.
- Dontdooddson
- Glorious Galway
- Disco Musik
