Sprang a surprise but no obvious fluke in doing so on hurdling debut at Perth in July. Has held his form on the Flat since including an easy win at Musselburgh late last month. Sets the standard.
Second in a point-to-point in May and has had wind surgery since. Sold for £26,000 since and now makes stable and hurdling debut. One to note in the betting and a likely type.
Good second on bumper debut but a touch below that when failing to settle at Ayr in Feburary. Now makes hurdles debut following an absence and an obvious contender with more time under his belt.

Ended a long losing stretch on the Flat at Ayr in August but poor in two starts since. Makes hurdles debut and while capable, it's hard to know what to expect.

Former Irish maiden was twice a winner from five over point-to-points back in 2017. Unseen since and probably best watched as a result.

Twice a winner on heavy on the Flat for Karl Burke and a gambled on favourite on stable and hurdling debut when badly disappointing last December. First run back and unless he gets very testing ground, he's probably best watched.

Gelded since a well beaten bumper debut at odds of 50/1 back in April debut. Easy to overlook on hurdles debut.
Unseated in sole point-to-point run and well beaten in two starts over hurdles. Easy to dismiss once again on first run since June.

Won both Irish point-to-points and duly sent off odds-on when second on stable debut. Fifth of six subsequently was a similar level of form and she could be better going over obstacles following a break.

Forecasts

Highway Companion (5/4), Kaizer (7/4), Wax And Wane (11/2), Theflickeringlight (14/1), A Ladies Milan (20/1), Strong Steps (28/1), Tailspin (66/1), Refer To Rory (66/1), Wheelbahri (100/1)

Verdict

KAIZER comes here in winning form from the Flat and won his sole previous effort over obstacles. He's the one to beat with A Ladies Man an interesting hurdling debutante in a race lacking in depth. Highway Companion brings the clear best form from those having run in bumpers.
  1. Kaizer
  2. A Ladies Milan
  3. Highway Companion
