Has plenty of form in the mud over the years. Not the force of old at the age of nine, but ran creditably when third in the Group 2 Park Stakes at Doncaster last time, and this is easier, so not taken lightly.
Better than ever in Dubai this winter when third in the G1 Jebel Hatta over 1m1f. Not disgraced on domestic return, but ran poorly in the Paradise Stakes at Ascot in May. Off since, and is taking a drop in trip here, so hard to weigh up.
Soft ground winner who was back to her best when winning the German 1000 Guineas. Has struggled since, and not easy to fancy given she has to carry a 5lb penalty for that success.
Weak in the market when scoring at Newbury in July over this trip, but other efforts this season have been disappointing, and looked to have issues when well held at Ascot in July. Also engaged 3:10 Ascot.
Not at his best since landing a 1m Listed race at Newmarket in November. Not really had the rub of the green this term, and ran as well as could be expected when mid-field in the Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot when last seen. Could bounce back.
Needed the run after an absence last time, but looked as good as ever when second in a minor contest over 7f at Thirsk on April return. Should be closer to form now, and his best effort would put him right in the mix.

Lots of ifs and buts here, and a chance is taken on SIR THOMAS GRESHAM, who improved a little stepped up to this trip last time, and is perhaps open to improvement given his profile. Veteran Breton Rock is not the force of old, but ran well at Doncaster, and has claims with a repeat, and Mitchum Swagger is another old-timer who has a bit of life left in him at this level.
