Can race keenly at times but made every yard in a beginners' chase over C&D in May and, if he's fully tuned in here, looks the likeliest winner again with further improvement to come.

Twice went close over fences from as many goes in the spring at Leicester and Newbury; three-time hurdles winner is very capable of going well fresh and should prove a leading contender in this line-up.

Was third of four in this last year (rated 4lb lower) and went on two manage two chase wins from eight further starts last term (plus a walkover). Should give a good account for yard with fine 15% strike-rate at this circuit in 2019.

Little fortunate (leader fell at last) to get head in front at Newton Abbot (2m½f, good) in August, his second chase win this season, but has run credibly again since at Stratford, finishing 1L third, and may go well again despite latest 2lb rise.

Dual 2m chase winner last season at Warwick and Taunton off lower marks on both occasions. Tailed off in last month's return at Stratford (2m1f, good) and needs a career-best to land this in all probability.

No No Cardinalp27
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-0| J: James Davies| T: Mark Gillard| OR:  104| CD
25/1
Has been successful in four of his last five starts. His run of wins came to an end last time when he was third of five over C&D. He's been eased 2lb now but still looks to have his work cut out from current perch.

Forecasts

Cervaro Mix (11/8), Master Work (2/1), Darebin (5/1), Salto Chisco (9/1), Railroad Junkie (12/1), No No Cardinal (25/1)

Verdict

The lightly-raced CERVARO MIX made a winning chase debut over C&D in May and Oliver Sherwood's charge is likely to have a bit more progress in him yet. This looks a good starting point on his return and he can make it 2-2 over these obstacles. Master Work has gone close both starts over fences and will be able to do himself justice fresh, while Darebin and Salto Chisco are best of the rest.
