Showed very little aptitude for hurdling when first tried in this sphere (started at 200-1); pulled up. Can only be watched on his return to action given the impression that he created on debut.
Shown promise in a couple of hurdles starts having finished last of five on his only Irish point-to-point start. This trip likely to suit well with plenty of stamina in his pedigree; looks the type to continue progressing; worth shortlisting.
Tongue-tie now introduced for the first-time having been pulled up in both hurdles starts so far last April (not fancied in the market on either occasion). Has been placed in Irish point-to-points but needs to see out a race before being supported.
Bumper winner when trained in Ireland but found life tough over hurdles since that victory and a change of yards doesn't appear to have rejuvenated. Pulled up when last seen; needs to show something before being worthy of support.
Off the mark at third attempt in point-to-points before making his bumper debut for his former yard at Stratford (25-1, struggled into fifth place). Since joined a top-class yard for his hurdling debut; well worth noting any market positivity.
Bounced around a few yards and between GB/France; fairly useful sort at his best on the Flat, only showed modest form over hurdles in France. Now returns to hurdles (has had a recent Flat run; finished last); this hurdles run may reveal more.
Some reasonable point-to-point form has prefaced promise in three bumper starts, the last two for this yard (runner-up both occasions). Now makes his hurdles debut on the back of a wind op; keep a close eye on in the market given his background.
Yard are in decent form at the moment so it won't be an unexpected occurrence if he builds on his one bumper outing so far (offered plenty to work on). Break shouldn't be a problem and he's one of the more interesting contenders.
Modest maiden on the Flat and over hurdles who doesn't really appear to be progressing at all; remains with little hurdling form. Fared poorly when last seen on the Flat; makes little appeal.
Rather gifted her Newbury bumper win (got a very easy lead) but did show some progressive form over hurdles after that without winning including in handicaps. Feasible case can be made for her returning from a break despite 0-5 hurdles record.
Well supported in a 2m bumper here just under a year ago but failed to justify the market confidence whilst still showing ability. Could well be better than she's shown now making her first start over hurdles, not one to ignore in calculations.
Forecasts
Aimee De Sivola (5/2), Thomas Macdonagh (11/4), Flinck (3/1), Neil The Legend (5/1), Torn And Frayed (10/1), Remember The Man (25/1), Jemima P (33/1), Mountain Ranger (66/1), Hang Tough (80/1), Capparattin (100/1), True Thoughts (100/1)
Plenty that interest here not least THOMAS MACDONAGH whose bumper form looks strong and given his pedigree he’ll surely enjoy this step up to 2m5f. Torn And Frayed is another bumper recruit who can’t be ignored especially with the Twiston-Davies team in such good form at the moment and he along with Neil The Legend and Jemima P also from the bumper sphere give this contest some depth. The biggest dangers to the suggestion though are likely to arise from Flinck and Aimee De Sivola both of whom have plenty of experience in the context of this race over hurdles. The former looks a progressive sort while the latter will appreciate this ease in grade and some cut in the ground.
