Heavy ground C&D scorer last year, when 4lb lower. Without a win since then, but has been competitive from similar marks to this, and with conditions again to his liking, he should be thereabouts.
Goes on any ground (has won on heavy) and stays 2m2f in this code. Well held here over C&D recently, when on today's mark, but that came after a break and he should be spot on this time. Respected.
Soft ground winner over 2m at Ffos Las this time last year. Has been kept to just two runs this season, and had wind surgery after the more recent of those in July. Drops 2lb for this return to action, and not ruled out if surgery has helped.
Dual 1m4f who is 6lb higher than when scoring at Beverley in June. Stays 2m, is consistent and looks a player, provided he handles these conditions (has yet to race on ground slower than good to soft).
Dual winner over 1m-1m2f when with Jeremy Noseda, but has seen little action in the past couple of years. Returns for new stable after 14-month absence here, and probably one to watch unless market vibes strong.
Triple winner at up to 2m, both his turf wins being on good. Beginning to look exposed lately and softer conditions are also a concern.
