Recorded the third win of his career on his first start of the campaign at Carlisle (1m3f). He was unable to follow that up last time on the AW at Kempton (1m3f) where he was eighth of 12. Remains off the same mark so he needs to bounce back.
Was a winner at Thirsk (1m4f) three starts ago in a 10 runner field. He could only finish seventh off 11 last time at Thirsk (1m4f). Has been eased 2lb by the handicapper which will help his chances but others are preferred.
Broke her maiden last time at the seventh attempt when she prevailed at Beverley (1m4f). She has gone up 3lb for that success but there could be more to come from her so she is a leading contender to follow up.
Produced the best run of her career so far last time when she finished fourth of seven here over 1m3½f. She makes her handicap debut in this contest where she is interesting, especially if there is market support behind her.
Was a narrow margin winner at Windsor back in June over 1m. Has performed moderately well over 1m2f on her last two starts, including last time at Sandown when she was third of nine. Stepping up in trip again which is likely to help her chances.
A two-time winner over hurdles, however, he has yet to break his maiden on the Flat. He was third of five last time at Worcester in a 2m4f handicap. This is his first Flat start since October so he is best to be watched for now.
Remains a maiden after 12 runs, however, he has been running consistently well without success this year, including latest at Pontefract when he was 2L away in fourth place of 12. Remains off the same mark. Has each-way claims.
Finished second of five at Nottingham (1m2f) three runs back, beaten just ½L, however, since then she has struggled on her two starts, including latest at Leicester (1m4f). Has blinkers on for the first time here. Others make more of an appeal.
Still looking for his opening win after eight starts. He was second of four over this C&D back in June but since then his form has been poor. Failed to beat a single horse last time at Carlilse (1m6f). Needs to improve.
Has hit the frame twice in her last two outings but she is still bidding for her first win. She was third of 16 at Ffos Las on her latest appearance at this distance. Remains off the same mark so she can't be discounted.

Vindolanda (4/1), Just Once (4/1), Duke Of Alba (9/2), Cormier (7/1), Royal Flag (7/1), Ormesher (8/1), Bombero (8/1), Casting Spells (11/1), Venusta (12/1), Trinity Star (16/1), Overtrumped (20/1)
VINDOLANDA scored over this distance last time at Beverley to record the first win of her career. She will have to defy a 3lb rise in the weights here but there is likely to be more to come so take her to land more success. Venusta has shaped like this longer distance will suit her so she should not be to be far away, while Royal Flag can finish in this placings from this mark on his return to turf.
- Vindolanda
- Venusta
