Four-race maiden over hurdles, disappointing connections on each start. First time cheekpieces unlikely to bring about the required amount of improvement needed to play a role here.

Mr Moondance³²

Age: 8| Weight: 11-9| J: D R Fox| T: M M McNiff| OR: 92| BF

7/1

Solid and tough sort over a variety of distances running well in defeat in a number of starts last month. Beaten favourite on latest start here over a similar trip and not to be taken lightly.

Form: 494362

Greenandwhitearmy³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: Ricky Doyle⁽⁵⁾| T: N McKnight| OR: 91| CD

4/1

Off the mark for connections at the eighth time of asking when landing a competitive handicap over C&D last month off a 5lb lower mark. Life more difficult under a penalty but another bold bid likely.

Form: 5-05U21

Lets Go Again⁴³

Age: 4| Weight: 11-8| J: Brian Hayes| T: P Fenton| OR: 95

10/1

Five-race maiden, daughter of Papal Bull still looking for breakthrough success in three starts over hurdles. Plenty to prove at present on handicap debut.

Age: 6| Weight: 11-5| J: C D Maxwell| T: D A McLoughlin| OR: 88

50/1

Form: 00-0

Midland Millie¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Donagh Meyler| T: A L T Moore| OR: 85

Myladyrose²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: M F Mooney| T: Mrs A Mooney| OR: 85

Form: 6P6420

Oscar Light^t⁴⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: J S McGarvey| T: N C Kelly| OR: 84

16/1

Eight-race maiden by Oscar has failed to hit the frame in five of her six starts over hurdles. More needed but worth a market check as post time approaches.

Form: 000-063

Forecasts

Greenandwhitearmy (4/1), Sporty Yankee (5/1), Midland Millie (13/2), Authorative (7/1), Mr Moondance (7/1), Presenting Sun (9/1), Our Brian (10/1), Lets Go Again (10/1), Myladyrose (12/1), Bard Of Armagh (12/1), Santa Anna (16/1), Deauville Society (16/1), Our Rachael (16/1), Oscar Light (16/1), Steelyeyed (20/1), Hugh Divots (25/1), Ballybeggan Peggy (33/1), Lee Valley Legacy (50/1)

GREENANDWHITEARMY is taken to confirm places with Mr Moondance in a competitive looking contest. The pair finished first and second, split by ¾L over C&D on good ground last month in an impressive performance from both horses who pulled 11L ahead of the nine-runner field. The Noel Kelly-trained Oscar Light looks a big danger following a promising run at this venue last month while top weight, Authorative should not be underestimated.
