Didn't show a great deal on chasing debut in the summer but should come on for that experience and has optimum conditions here with all wins gained in the mud and trip loos ideal. Obvious claims.
Was improving over hurdles in the summer and has form on soft ground. Chase debut can be forgiven as he was reported to have bled that day and clearly better than he showed then.
Lots of experience over fences and unlucky to have just the one win to his name. Conditions no problem but having first run since March and did need first run after a break last season.
Handicap mark has tumbled dramatically but did offer a little hope on comeback run here earlier in the month and this shorter trip may help, though losing run continues to build.
Carlisle win in April but impossible to fancy on recent evidence this month and was tailed off here on Wednesday.
Forecasts
Murphy's Law (9/4), Pat's Oscar (9/4), Ryalex (11/4), King's Wharf (8/1), Instingtive (9/1)
MURPHY'S LAW was looking progressive over hurdles including a good run here and can have his chasing debut overlooked. He is preferred to the Irish challenger Pat's Oscar who will relish the underfoot conditions. King's Wharf may be able to pick up the pieces should either of the big two under perform.
